Steps to Protect Your Office and Home from Fire  

If you are an employer or self employed within a business building or a contractor in business premises or a charity, you need to maintain your safety levels up to date on the latest improvements to fire safety.


Some regulations needed to be followed:

(1) You must do a fire threat evaluation which includes all likely risks and dangers. It should cover everybody in your company from employees, clients, delivery workers to stockroom workers.

(2) Minim
ze the threats as much as feasible. For instance, clear your office of extra combustible material such as gasoline cans, worn paint cans.

(3) Offer fire protection gear in all areas of your place of work and have all recruits be acquainted with where they are stored.

(4) Make available shield if the combustible or volatile equipments are required. Keep extinguishers and blankets accessible.
